Tastoa carp lake is only 5 minutes drive from Smallwater carp lakes and if you are lucky
you just might hook into one of the biggest carp a French water has to offer.
Nearly 3 km around and very open it's a good idea to bait up a swim over a few days
The carp are not in abundance but when you do finally hook one it's usually a big old fish.
Definitely a carp lake for the more patient carp angler.
There are also large pike and lots of black bass and zander
for those that like to go fishing for predators.
A permit is required to fish Tastoa lake, available from La belle peche.
