Once again had a very enjoyable & relaxing week in your beautiful well equiped lodge with it's lovely log burning fire.

Thanks for your hospitality and company over the last week and for the little extra trips, looking forward to 2012 and being back here.

We had a great two weeks. The house has all and more than you could want. The location made it great for exploring the countryside even as far as Pampalona in Spain.

13th - 26th August 2011

Have had a wonderful fortnight. Meant to go to so many places, sight seeing but went to very few as we were so enjoying the wonderful ambiance of the lodge and the lakes.

The pool was a godsend on the hot days and Spencer and I had great fun splashing about like a pair of kids !

The lodge was very clean and provided for all our needs, the welcoming cold beers and other things provided were truly appreciated.

We both caught our pb carp during the fortnight. Tinas 24 lb 4oz and Spencers 32 lb 2oz, we are both very happy.

Now we are packing up to go home and will be sad to leave but only another 51 weeks until next years holiday in the lodge.

Thank you both for all your help and taking Spencers humour in your stride !

Will look forward to seeing a walking talking Taylor next year.

Nous avons passé 15 jours ici , mais la region est tellement grande à visiter. Il n'est pas impossible qu'il y ait un triosième sejour...

Daves new pb carp 43 lb common.

Dave and I have had THE best time here ! The gite and it's facilities were beyond all expectations, the surrounding area is so beautiful too.

Shane and Rula have obviously worked very hard to reach such high standards and we congratulate them on doing so.

Do hope to see you next year, Taylor will be running around by then !

Another great holiday, was good to be in the pool when its so hot.

Billy got to fish a lot and had a new pb carp weighing 35 lb 15oz.

Jake & Rio got to go to the skateboarding in Dax and play with Buster the dog on the little bike.

We also had some great days out, Biarritz, water park, Spain and shoping in Dax etc.

Was good to meet your little man Taylor, he is a great lad, full of smiles and always happy. You are a very nice family :)

Thanks for all that you do and for making our stay so pleasant, see you next year when we hope to bring more of our family.

What a fantastic place, it was realy great to be the first to fish the new lake with all those big carp. Unbelievable weather, did not expect to be going in the pool at this time of year, coming this far south was definately worth the drive. We will recomend you to all our friends.

Shane & Rula,

We have enjoyed a super week in a comfortable and brilliantly equiped Gite. We have been doing Gite holidays for the last decade and La Grange is one of the nicest yet.

You have thought of everything to make visitors stay here a joy, and we wish you every success for the future.

The pool is super and the region is just wonderful. We hope to be back to sample the coast, mountains and historic towns again very soon.

We have had the most brilliant holiday !  Everything has been simply amazing, the lodge,  Shane & Rula our hosts, the facilities & all of the places to visit !  We have enjoyed long days on the beaches at Cap Bretton and Biarritz - brilliant fun for the children who learned to body board & skim board. Fab Restaurants and bars at both places where we have enjoyed lovely meals.

The grounds & the lake are beautiful, very peaceful with lots of room for the children to play. We had lots of fun fishing and have enjoyed camping out a few times to fish over night. Buster has been great company too .

This has been our favourite place we have stayed - we hope to return again. I can't recommend your hospitality and facilities enough.

Thank you to both of you for a wonderful holiday. The week has gone so quickly. Your facilities are fabulous and it makes the whole experiance one we shall never forget. The children have had the best time ever, and will be telling their friends back home about all the fun they have had. We did manage to catch one fish in the lake & took a photo of the fish, our son was so pleased ! The lake & the grounds are really stunning, our memories of the holiday will stay with us forever.

We also found the beach, which was very easy to find. Again the children had the best time ever !

We have really enjoyed our stay in the house, it really exceeded our expectations ! The house is perfect in every way.

The grounds and the lake are beautiful and it is a pity our stay was so short.

Thank you to the both of you for another fantastic holiday ! We cannot believe how quickly the two weeks have gone. Next year we will have to make it three weeks ! You are both wonderful people and we would like to congratulate you on all the hard work you have put into La Grange, your facilities are fabulous and it makes the whole experiance one we will never forget. We both love your company (& busters !) and always enjoy our wine evenings (even if Darren is drunk for 24hrs) Can't wait to come back again next year, we look forward to meeting the "nipper Kelway" once he arrives ! (how exciting)

We both wish you a "tres sunny" (Ha Ha) Summer and Chilli, Darren and I look forward to seeing you both again in 2011 (hopefully you will have a mini girlfriend for Chilli !)

We have all had a really great holiday. Kids have enjoyed themselves and had lots of fun. Loved staying in the Lodge (La Grange) you catered for all our needs. Look forward to seeing you next year and "Buster".

Thank you for such a wonderful holiday, we have had a great two weeks. The chalet & La Grange were great for all our needs, and the surroundings are perfect, the two of you have worked very hard.

We have all enjoyed a spot of fishing, topped at 19lb, but by switching activities we all had something to keep us amused (Only leaving for trips to the local supermarket & for four of the party to go canoeing)

The straw bales for the archery were perfect, a prime example of the dedication you have both put in, and continue to do.
